The faithful, though unwilling servant of the immortal killer Morlun, Dex was and still remains a man shrouded in mystery. When Morlun, in his quest for life sustaining energy, arrived in New York to confront Spider-Man, he sent Dex to make the preliminary arrangements, before the latter fed off the life-force of an unnamed German super hero. Dex remained by Morlun's side as he tracked down Spider-Man, stayed ever loyal, but frequently asking Morlun to kill him, and soon. After his unsuccessful first encounter with Spider-Man, Morlun turned to Dex to get him back in order for their next fight, which resulted in the apparent demise of Spidey's new ally Ezekiel. Later, Spider-Man had Morlun follow him to a radiation facility, where Spidey turned the tables on Morlun and defeated his deadly foe. When faced with the decision of whether or not he should kill Morlun to prevent any further murderous acts on his part, Dex stepped in and shot Morlun dead before Spider-Man could stop him. Spider-Man decided to let Dex go, but warned him never to return. Dex, gleefully walked off, and seems to be following Spidey's orders.
Powers and Abilities: Dex has no powers beyond those of an average man, and was an unwilling slave to Morlun.
