The Enforcers
First appearance: Amazing Spider-Man #10

A team of criminals for hire, the Enforcers (Montana, Ox and Fancy Dan) were first hired by Fredrick Foswell, the Big-Man, as agents of his criminal pursuits. When Foswell has captured, the Enforcers were arrested and released months later. When they got out of prison, the Enforcers encountered the Norman Osborn powered villain the Headsman, leading to the team being hired by the Green Goblin as part of his plan to defeat Spider-Man. After being defeated again, the team laid low for a while, fighting Spidey a few times over the years, as well as encountering the super-human team the Defenders, and Daredevil, a battle that ended with Ox left for dead, and his twin brother taking over his place in the Enforcers.

When Gang-Wars between the Blood Rose and the Kingpin broke out later, a new team of Enforcers was created, although that seemed to fall apart in the years to follow. The next time the Enforcers showed up was when Mr. Hyde was on trial for a murder committed by the Eel, impersonating former, deceased Enforcer Snake Marsden. The Enforcers, then the original three joined by Hammer Harrison, were arrested and while in prison the original Ox returned, in the employ of the Kingpin. The Enforcers (minus Hammer Harrison), upon their release, also fell under the employ of the Kingpin as well, and have shown up during a Gang-War between Kingpin and Jimmy-6, the son of ailing crime boss Fortunato.

Powers and Abilities: The Enforcers have no actual super human powers, but each have individual skills: Montana with his roping skills, Fancy Dan and acrobatic, Hammer Harrison and boxing skills and Ox with his strength.
