Fusion I
First appearance: Amazing Spider-Man #208

A combination of twin brothers Hubert and Pinky Fusser, one a brilliant scientist, the other a janitor, both bombarded with rays from a sub-atomic particle accelerator and transformed into a large glowing creature. Pinky, who was bombarded with the rays when he went to save Hubert, tried to get away from his brother so they didn't bond again, but Hubert, who considered themselves to be a great scientific phenomenon wanted to bond again. Pinky was forced to bond with his brother again when Hubert fell into the tracks of an oncoming subway train, and bonding at the last second they absorbed the blow from the train and became stronger.

As the Fusser twins emerged into the streets of New York, Spider-Man tracked them down and after a brief fight Spidey was able to separate the two Fusser twins. The Fusser twins were then taken to an M.D to discover the truth behind their origins. Despite the arrival of a new man calling himself Fusion, he has no connection to the original Fusser twins, who were never actually refered to as Fusion.

The Fusser twins appeared a long while later as Fusion, as prisoners of the Stranger on his homeworld. They were rescued by the spacefaring hero Quasar.

Powers and Abilities: When bonded together, Hubert and Pinky Fusser become a large glowing being, composed of energy. Fusion can feed off of energy in any form additionally.
