The Human Fly
First appearance: Amazing Spider-Man Annual #10

Years after enlisting Dr. Farley Stillwell to create the Scorpion, J. Jonah Jameson sought once again to create a creature that could defeat Spider-Man. Contacting Stillwell's brother Harlan, Jameson turned average joe Rick Deacon into the Human Fly, designed to be twice as strong as Spider-Man. Despite the Human Fly's advantage, Spider-Man defeated him, but not until the Human Fly had murdered Harlan Stilwell. Renaming himself just 'the Fly', Deacon showed up again soon after, trying to carve a niche for himself in the New York crime circles. The Fly was unsucessful in his ventures however, and was later murdered by the Scourge, a vigilante bent on murdering criminals.

Powers and Abilities: The Human Fly has super-human strength, flight powers and increased agility.
