Untold Tales Of Spider-Man #10 (April 1996) Kurt Busiek, Pat Olliffe and Al Vey
After recieving half price for his photos, at the Daily Bugle the day, Peter runs into his classmate Sally Avril, who has come to discover the identity of the Spider-Man photographer, since Peter does not have his name placed with the pictures. Upon discovering that Peter does take the pictures, Sally accompanies Peter to Mid-Town High, while Peter ponders the current tragic situation of Betty Brant. At Mid-Town High Liz Allen mentions that a jewel that Commanda may be interested in pilfering, is on display at her father's hotel. Liz asks the gang to come to see it, with Peter tagging along.
When they arrive Peter ducks out for a moment to examine the skylight, in order to have a way to enter later that evening. And when Commanda sneaks in, Spider-Man does, and he confronts Commanda. Commanda decides to prey on his youth and alters her amour to resemble a more revealing emsemble, and goes into kiss Spider-Man to trick him. However just before the kiss, Spider-Man removes Commanda's control tiara, rendering the robotic drones useless. Just then though, Commanda calls in for help, and Spider-Man then discovers that Commanda is in fact a guest at Mr. Allen's hotel. After Commmanda claims that Spider-Man attacked her, and Spider-Man is promptly chased away by the guards.
But while Spider-Man is web-slinging home, Sally Avril and Jason Ionello, two classmates of Peters are at the Parker house, to learn more about how Peter had become the Daily Bugle Spider-Man photographer.

the plot: As Spider-Man goes in to capture a notorious cat burglar during a rooftop burglary, he's surprised to discover that the thief, Commanda, is in fact a woman, a fact that causes Spider-Man to get nervous and become vulnerable to an attack. After dodging Commanda's robotic guards, Spider-Man knocks down Commanda, but then goes to see if she'd been hurt and is promptly shocked, only to come to after Commanda departs. The following day while developing the photos he had taken the last evening, Peter discovers that Commanda's robots had prevented her being taken by covering her face.
