the plot: While investigating an explosion engineered by Carolyn Trainer, the female Dr. Octopus, the Ben Reilly Spider-Man finds a pair of virtual reality glasses that he brings back to the home of his good friend Seward Trainer. When Seward tests the glasses he's plunged into a deadly V.R world, so Ben has to save him by entering the cyberland and fighting digital versions of Venom, Carnage, Stunner, Lady Ock and even Spider-Man. But even when Ben pulls Seward out, it appears that it's too late and Seward's mind has been lost.
