the plot: Captain Power, the mysterious being tracking down the victims of the explosion that gave Peter his powers, is revealed to be Dr. Octopus' old lab assistant Christine Carr. Carr's next target is Dr. Twaki, head of Tri-Corp, but a last minute save by Spidey takes away Carr's power.

(What this story tells you is that the simple incident that gave Peter his powers, has now become a blood bath, where the only survivors were Spidey, Doc Ock and Dr. Carr. I'm very glad they 86ed this story later.)
