the plot:
The Sandman, having recently returned to crime, reorganizes the Sinister Six, while Peter has to deal with the increased security around Mary Jane and her anger over his return to being Spider-Man. Meanwhile, Senator Stewart Ward gets a visit from Dr. Octopus and the Sinister Six, who aren't working with Ock this time. It's Ock, Ward and Spidey against the five other members of the SS, until their sixth member, Venom, shows up. In a back-up story, Mysterio thought dead after Daredevil #7, reveals their may be more than what appears to his resurrection.
