the plot: After getting a phone call that Mary Jane was alive and in Latveria, Spidey hitches a ride there, but encounters fighting rebels and Latveria's monarch Dr. Doom. Spidey gets a hand to regroup from a young girl named Anna, whose father is in the rebellion, but Spidey is shocked when he learns that Doom is actually a robot.

Peter Parker: Spider-Man #15 v.2 (January 2000) Mackie Romita Hanna the plot: Having convinced his army that he's the real Dr. Doom, a renegade Doom-bot now rules Latveria, until Spidey and Anna finally find a way into Castle Doom, where Spidey reveals the truth. Rescuing Anna's father, Spidey leaves the castle, while Doom's generals destroy the Doom-bot. Spidey leaves to return to America.
