the plot: Seeking revenge on Synch of the mutant team Generation X for an earlier defeat, the Plantman attacks and turns Synch into a brutal man-beast. Spider-Man tries to save Synch, but Spidey is transformed into a man-spider. Only by using the Plantman's own potions against him, do the heroes prevail and return to their normal selves.
