the plot:
The third clone of Spider-Man is loose and goes after Mary Jane, who's being protected by the mysterious and enigmatic Kaine. Peter is still being held in prison for the false murder charges laid against him last issue, and the Spider-Man clone, Ben Reilly tries to make sense of things.
