the plot: Heading off to his good friend Seward Trainer's cabin to Vermont to clear his head, Ben Reilly remembers his first meeting with Seward, when he was on the road and left for dead by Spider-Man. The cabin gets blown up by a mysterious figure though, and Ben is forced to fight for his life and Seward's against a mysterious foe who wants them both dead.
