the plot: After killing mob Don Vito Torrencio, the ravishing hired killer Delilah receives instructions to kill the ex-husband of Ben Reilly's boss Shirley. Meanwhile, Peter Parker has been hospitalized following the mysterious spasms he's been experiencing (like in the last issue for example), and Peter's doctors don't know what to do. Meanwhile, J. Jonah Jameson has gone missing and it seems that the Ringer has returned, but Spidey's busy with saving Shirley's ex-husband Garon from Delilah. Spidey stops Delilah, but questions Garon on as to what he's up to, but he turns out to actually be a cop. Meanwhile the true motives for Delilah's attacks are revealed, to draw attention to her employers rival crimeboss Hammerhead, while the true boss continues to rise the underworld. And just who is Delilah's boss? Why none other than the Rose, the son of the Kingpin.
