the plot: In South America a shadowy figure studies the current state of New York's criminal underworld, while Daily Bugle reporter Ben Urich tries to figure out just who a man called the "Black Tarantula" is. The Rose knows who he is though, and he and his hench-person Delilah prepare for a meeting with the Black Tarantula's underlings, while Mary Jane and her Aunt Anna redecorate MJ and Peter's baby's bedroom, following the events of Amazing Spider-Man #418. Later Delilah goes to meet with the Black Tarantula, but Spidey intervenes and it seems the Tarantula is killed in an explosion...If that was the Black Tarantula.
