the plot: The Venom symbiote, thought to have been destroyed, returns and wants Eddie Brock back. Meanwhile, Spider-Man is still trying to learn the truth about Senator Stewart Ward, but is attacked by the symbiote who tracks down Brock. Spidey finds Brock first thinking he may be behind the threatening phone calls Mary Jane has been getting, but can't be since he lost his knowledge of Spidey's secret identity a while back. The symbiote storms in and gets away with Brock and all Spidey can do is wait, until Venom returns once more.
