the plot:
In an alternate world where the greatest heroes of the DC and Marvel Comic universes have merged into one, the heroic X-Patrol (Doom Patrol and X-Men) take on Dr. Doomsday (Doomsday & Dr. Doom) and his plans to create genetic clones of the heroes, albeit in a splintered and "inferior" form. Amongst the proposed "inferior" duplicates, Superman, Wolverine, Wonder Woman and Spider-Man. The real heroes are all only seen on a computer screen in one panel.
