the plot: The Vulture, bitter and vengeful towards the city of New York, shuts off the power to the city and goes on a high-rise crime spree. Spider-Man intervenes, but when Vulture kidnaps a child, Spidey's made the prime suspect. Vulture gets away and Spider-Man is targeted by the police, who will stop at nothing to bring Spidey down.
