the plot: Betty Brant continues to investigate Jimmy Fude's death, and what possible connection his brother Tommy might have had to do with it. Meanwhile, aging reporter Charlie Snow struggles with deadlines and the fact that he may be losing his touch, J. Jonah Jameson saves the tenants of a burning building caused by a landowner who wants to turn the building into a high-rise, and Betty Brant is kidnapped.
