the plot: Reproduced for the very first time in America, the Spider-Man series produced in Japan in the 1970's presents us with Yu Komori, who, while studying late at school one night, is bitten by a spider irradiated by his science equipment. Designing a costume for himself, Komori becomes the Amazing Spider-Man, though keeps his new identity hidden from his beloved Aunt Mei. Meanwhile Yu has the long awaited meeting with his pen pal Rumiko, while the super-charged villain Electro bursts on the scene. Can Yu stop Electro and find Rumiko's missing brother, or is there a more sinister connection beneath it all?
