the plot: Kaine has attacked Ben Reilly, while the latter stands in for Peter Parker at his murder trial. However the real Peter arrives as Spidey and takes down Kaine, while detective Jacob Raven finally gets the retribution for the murder of his partner Louise Kennedy all those years before. Meanwhile as the Jackal continues to plot with the third Peter Parker clone, Ben's close friend Seward Trainer conducts a test to discover who the true clone is, and all are horrified when Ben is revealed to be the true Peter Parker. Peter flees in disgust, while the Jackal presents the third clone with a surprise...a costume of his own.
