the plot: Ben Reilly ajusts to his return to life as Spider-Man, and runs into the twisted monster known as D.K. It turns out however, that D.K is a victim of chemical sabatoge though, as an environmentalist named David Kalen was transformed into a purple blob, and his brother killed by an evil industrialist. Spidey manages to talk David down though, and he goes into psychiatric care, while the industrial is taken in for his crimes.
