the plot: Peter and Mary Jane are back in New York to cover the Spider-Man skeleton found last issue by J. Jonah Jameson, and they visit with Ben Reilly, who has the skeleton. Choas ensues when Ben's girlfriend Jessica arrives for a date, and they have to hide the skeleton and explain why Ben and his "cousin" Peter look so much alike ("He's your cousin from Portland...Your fathers were twins. Like on the 'Patty Duke Show'," suggests Mary Jane.) Plus Seward Trainer comes out of his coma, and not a moment too soon, because his evil daughter Carolyn, the new Doctor Octopus has plans for his father, but she's stopped by Spidey. And Ben is shocked to discover a wall full of self-taken Spider-Man photos lining Jessica's walls when he visits her later.
