the plot: Just moments after his supposed death, Peter Parker's body jolts back to life, shocking both his wife Mary Jane, and "brother" Ben Reilly. Meanwhile J. Jonah Jameson has gone missing and is office is ransacked, and throughout the offices the word "Onslaught" keeps appearing on computer screens. Dr. Curt Connors, both friend and foe to Peter Parker as the nefarious Lizard, treats Peter, when a second Lizard shows up after Connors, who runs away terrified. Ben suits up as Spider-Man to bring down the Lizard, and Peter arrives to help out but nearly falls to his death off a roof-top. The Lizard gets away while Ben saves Peter.
