the plot: Spider-Man and the Black Cat rush to save the life of Dagger, who has been held captive by the Kingpin, in order to use her light powers to save his ailing wife. Meanwhile, Dagger's partner, Cloak arrives to save Dagger, as does the mindless, robotic form of Silvermane. In the end, the Kingpin's henchman, the Answer, sacrifices himself to save Dagger's life, Silvermane regains his memory, and the heroes get away, with the Kingpin swearing revenge on them all.
