the plot: Tired after a hectic past few days, Spidey tries giving his girlfriend Gwen a call, and later sees her having coffee with Peter Parker's rival, Flash Thompson. Despondant, Peter bats away some street toughs with ease, and hopes a nearby window washer didn't see him. That window washer is actually Hobie Brown, an inventor, whose revolutionary ideas are dismissed by his loutish boss. Hobie decides to create his devices anyway, and dons a suit to become the Prowler, in the hopes that his new alter-ego can steal cash, which Hobie will later return as a hero. However his first robbery attempt is at the Daily Bugle, where Peter happens to be. Can Peter stop the Prowler without exposing his spider-powers in front of both his new foe, and J. Jonah Jameson?
