the plot: While fighting the Scavulture, the ever-loving Spider-Boy is visited by the Legion of Galactic Guardians 2099, who take him into their possible future realities, as a way of learning from him and showing him the future, and a team that he'll later form. Eventually the LOGG 2099 catches up with the regular DC Legion, and undergoes some changes, which result in their being led by Mig-El Gand, the Spider-Boy 2099.

It's kind of confusing, but aside from that it's a real light-hearted romp, full of far-out combinations of your favorite DC and Marvel heroes like Bouncing Ball (a combo of Bouncing Boy and Speedball, and Living Lightning Lad (see if you can figure that one out.)
