the plot: While bounty hunters are trying to cash in on the price put on Spider-Man's head, Spidey finds it difficult to be a hero when those he's trying to save are terrified of him, and everyone else is trying to blow his head off. He gets a hand from a revived Prowler, and learns that his old buddy Flash Thompson is now Norman Osborn's right hand man. Meanwhile, Norman's grandson Normie is kidnapped, and one of Spidey's would be hunters, Aura, is wounded herself, to the horror of her husband, Override.
the plot: While on the run from the law and countless bounty hunters, Spider-Man is attacked by the Black Tarantula, who both defeats and unmasks Spider-Man.
the plot: While racing away from the bounty hunter called Shotgun, Spidey runs across an unemployed bookkeeper named Clarence Fielding, who wants to collect on the bounty, and ends up saving Spidey's life. Meanwhile Norman Osborn has convinced an amnesic Frank Castle (the Punisher), that Spider-Man is a criminal, and Spidey and Clarence try to get to safety from a hoard of gun toting maniacs, with some help from Jimmy Six. Unfortunatly as the Punisher regains his memories during a showdown between him, Shotgun and Spidey, a new Green Goblin appears and detonates some pumpkin bombs nearby.
the plot: Spidey, the Punisher and Shotgun survive the Goblin's attack, and after getting some rest, Spidey leaps back into action to save Normie Osborn. Meanwhile the Goblin attacks Norman Osborn at the Daily Bugle, and wants a ransom for Normie's recovery. The Goblin takes Osborn, who's saved by Spidey and Override, and a climatic battle occurs between the Goblin and Spidey, a fight that appears to take the life of the Goblin. Shotgun and the Punisher team up to take down some of the random bounty hunters, Jimmy Six offers Spidey a hand, and Clarence helps rescue Normie, and is given a big cash reward. Override is also guaranteed care for his wife Aura for assisting Osborn. In the end it's revealed that the new Goblin was a pawn of Osborn's, and that he survived the fight.
