The Scorcher
First appearance: Untold Tales of Spider-Man #1

The Scorcher is one of Spider-Man's earliest and most seldom seen villains. Once a research scientist framed for a crime against his company by a fellow employee, the Scorcher used his inventions towards criminal activities then on feeling that this was the path he had fallen into. The Scorcher then was hired by Norman Osborn for furthering his own needs only to be apparently lost in an explosion. He later showed up again, forcing Peter Parker's classmate Tiny McKeever to pay him for his protection. Again Scorcher was thought dead.

Years later the Scorcher poped up again having survived his apparent demise and fought Ben Reilly, the Spider-Man at the time.

Powers and Abilities: Scorcher, when not in his battle suit has average strength and power skills, but when in his suit has powers that equal those of Spider-Man and has flame throwing guns mounted on his wrists.
