Stegron
First appearance: Marvel Team-Up #19

Vincent Stegron was once a young, eager lab assistant to Dr. Curt Connors, the Lizard. After a freak accident, Vincent was transformed into a dinosaur like creature calling himself Stegron. After several fights with Spider-Man, Stegron was left for dead in a frozen over Central Lake Park. Stegron survived however, his dinosaur powers and form removed.

Now homeless, Vincent stayed that way until a stray blast of energy hit him during a fight between Spider-Man and the Sinister Syndicate. Now Stegron again, he teamed up briefly with the Beetle, before leaving New York for the Tropical Savage Land of Alaska. After a battle with Thunderstrike, Stegron was once again frozen in ice. He was released during a Roxxon Oil takeover of the Savage Land that resulted in the block of ice Stegron was stuck in melting. It took both Spider-Man and Ka-Zar to defeat Stegron, who once again is trapped in the Savage Land.

Powers and Abilities: Stegron has powers similar to those of the Lizard, only much more brutal. His tail can be used to hold objects and he pocesses great intelligence. He is devoted to animal life, who he will not harm no matter what, but despises human life.
