Word Wonder
Excellent
fast ska-punk band with a sax player. All met at Stoke College
on a music course. Played a lot of shows with SOU last year.
Good friends of the band. Have an excellent demo.

piece punk band. Play fast, infectious punk music and create a
great sound for only 3 people. Apparently have gotten even
better since I last seen them so they’re definitely worth
checking out. Also have a kickass demo recorded on an 8
track.

A
band I’ve heard a lot about but still haven’t seen. A 4
piece (I think) hardcore band who have recently formed and
played a hell of a lot of shows in the area.

Brainake
Redditch
based punkers currently organising a mini tour with SOU. The 4
piece play fast speed punk and occasionally use a trumpet.
Also recently recorded a demo but I haven’t heard it yet.

Great
bunch of guys from the Stoke area. Remembered for letting Dec
restring their guitar when his broke. Play sensitive, fast,
catchy punk rock. Have changed their 2nd guitarist
and still a 4 piece. Are said to be splitting soon.

Will
be remembered for running on stage butt naked with Joe during
another bands set. Have not played locally in a long time. 6
piece ska band. Quite similar to SOU.

Ska Scene
The
UK now has an excellent ska and punk scene. The bands are
dedicated and tour their asses off. The main label being Moon
Ska Europe. Here are the best new UK ska bands

- Hardcore ska 4 piece. Well known for anthem Ska Wars

- Great band from Derby. Have recorded quite a lot of
material. All sounds brilliant. Amazing live show.
