Members

This section tells you about the crew of fuck ups and retards that make the SOU lineup. If you want to find out more about them go to interviews section. Here are the six of them complete with mugshots.

Sense Of Urgency

Joe - Vocals

By far the laziest member but the one who guides us all in the right direction. He’s got an American sounding voice which he can switch from harsh to melodic with the greatest of ease. Joe is currently studying philosophy at Staffs Uni. Everyone wishes him the best of luck. He’s influenced by anything from emo, hardcore, punk, ska and beyond.

Dec - Guitar, Backing Vocals

The member who puts up with the most shit because he’s quieter than the rest. He’s wrote a lot of new songs with Gater and is very big headed and proud. Can easily harmonize with his brother and relishes the solo’s. He recently wrote humorous songs along with emo ones. Influenced by punk-ska. Likes Sublime way too much.
Day - Bass

I hate to make his head bigger but he has to be the best bass player I’ve heard in a very long time. It’s what happens when you idolize Flea. Mixes in funk bass with the punk and ska melodies. The most violent and disturbed member of the group. He’s proud of it too. He gets pleasure out of pointing out people’s faults. A true gentleman.
Beard - Drums
Another quiet member. Also a great piano player as well as a damn good drummer. Helps a lot on the musical side of things. Probably the most intelligent out of the band. That’s not too hard though. He brightens up the practices and stops the majority of the arguments between Alex and Dec.
Gater - Sax

The band owe a great deal to Gater. He didn’t work miracles back in Pre-punkt on bass but he sure has helped change the sound and make it more solid and powerful. He mixes in jazz improvisation sax with Dec’s power chords and it sounds perfect. Also an intelligent member but is known to have his little outbursts.

Tombone - Trombone

The newest member of the band who fitted in amazingly quickly. Adds power and depth to the sax and it sounds cool. Has already started writing songs with us and still seems quite quiet. A good laugh and a good musician. He loves the gigs and stops everyone bitching at each other. A damn good guy.
