Atmosphere One thing that alot of people find that helps their atmosphere while meditating is with the use of incense or candles. Alot of people find these to be relaxing to them and helps them concentrate on their meditation and what they want to achieve during their meditation session. There are a number of incense aromas that can be used while meditating depending our your aroma likes. I have found that Sandal Wood is very good to use while meditating and so is Dragon's Blood. Vanilla incense is another good to use while meditating especially if you are meditating for health reasons. When using candles it is best to use white candles while meditating in order to offend off evil spirits from harming you during the session. And again if you like them you can use aroma candles during your meditation session. And if meditating for health reasons Vanilla candles are good to use then during your session. I know some people like black candles to burn, they are ok to use only if you burn a white candle to balance the darkness and light. If you burn just the black candle you are inviting evil spirits into your home and possibly yourself. The use of music is fine to use during a meditation session as well as the candles and or incense. People have used all types of music during meditation sessions, some people just listen to instrumental type music. Music is fine to use during a meditation session; but it is best not to use music that will distract you. It is best to use music that is soothing to you, or what some people consider easy listening or mellow music. Do not use music that is loud or music that is going to keep your attention on it then what you are wanting to achieve during this meditation session. |
