I HATE ANIME!

Alright, now that I have your attention, let me qualify that statement: I hate anime IN AMERICA. It's not anime that causes violence, it's PEOPLE MAKING FUN OF IT! I swear, if one more person asks me if I mean "those foreign cartoons" I'm going to bring a gun to school and open fire. Consider yourself warned.

Well, I don't really mean that. But it does make me really mad. Of course, it doesn't help with the kid shows snapping up every damn piece of childish, stupid junk like Digimon. And if it wasn't for Pokemon, none of this would ever have happened. This is yet another reason why I hate anything that ends the sound "-mon." It was bad enough in the names of the series', but was it really necessary for Digimon to have EVERY DAMN MONSTER'S name end in "-mon?" Why not name the kids that way too? There would be "Idiotmon," "Moronmon," "Bitchmon," "Jerkmon," and the lovable "Brainy-But-Still-A-Dumbassmon". I even watched a couple episodes of both before I made a judgement, and let me tell you this: time does NOT heal all wounds.

And now we have that damn "Anime invasion" crap, which makes sure that anyone who sees it is sure to relize that this crap is anime, and of course assumes all anime is that stupid. Of course, it doesn't help that Fox has subverted Escaflowne to be their lead-off. Even with the horrible sound, rushed feel, and cut footage, it's infinitely better than Digicrap. Too bad it's been downsized from a great series into an average one. Wait, I already have a rant bitching about Esca. Alright, moving on.

At least we have Cartoon Network, though. Their dubs are usually pretty good, and they have some really nice series'. Tenchi in particular (could you imagine Tenchi in any shape or form on Fox Kids? HAHAHAHAHA! I wonder how much they would be sued.) and Gundam W in, um, not so particular (Sure, GW is a pretty good show, but I wouldn't spend $150 for it the way I would for Esca or SMJ or Slayers or something), and DBZ and SM if you lean that way. I'm fine with that, as much as I hate them myself, I can understand others liking them (my best friend likes DBZ...or at least finds it mildly entertaining. To each his own, I guess).

About now is when I would say my point. Too bad I don't have one. This isn't for English class or anything, I'm just bitching about stuff. So have fun, do your thing, and remember: There's nothing to lose but your life.

Don't like it? Then E-mail me. I'm really not that busy.
