Yay for Alcohol!



     That's right folks I've found the staple of American democracy. Occupy the masses so that they don't even try to speak. This way you avoid that whole rule by the people thing it's supposed to stand for and create the Plutocracy(rule by wealthy) we have. By occupation of course I mean more then just mentally handicapped college students getting wasted all the time, I mean so many more things.
     The biggest being poverty of course. What better way to make sure the people you're trying to control don't say anything against you? Busy them with things. And what's better then bills and the constant worries of providing for yourself and family? Obviously a bit selfish since other countries have it worse then us but we're speaking in the context of America. And if financial problems aren't enough check out what else people spend innumerable hours per year on. Sports, movies, video games, partying, working, and other things that don't really matter. Work is of course directly related to the first occupation(no pun intended) that by needing more money the average person works a 40 hour week to just keep up. Sports are fostered in our heads as children by youth sports, school sponsored sports, and the overwhelming media coverage of everything sports and sports figures do and say that doesn't matter. Movies and video games I'll clump together since they are both just forms of entertainment that we waste time and money on. I myself play a hefty amount of video games but I started when gaming was pure.
     Gaming started as a nerd thing. People who were into techy stuff but it quickly grabbed onto the cash wagon and sold out quicker then Good Charlotte on the phone with MTV. There still is a good amount of game makers that create for enjoyment not profit. People like Linus Torvald(maker of Linux) who create software because they like to or because they don't believe in copyrighting information and commercializing the shit of it.
     But back to alcohol. Most people I've hung out with don't drink, thank god. But I still have to hear people insist that alcohol somehow heightens their life, and implicitly will heighten mine. It's fucking sad. All beer is is an excuse for their bullshit actions they're too embarassed to do sober or a scapegoat so they can fuck up and not feel so bad. Grow up!
     Some ass might say homework is another occupier of time but they obviously are Learning Deficit. Education helps elevate you beyond the grip of poverty and ignorance. If you don't want to enlighten yourself, get out. There are enough sheep in the world we need more dissidents. Dissenting is a task that is required in today's world. Some say it's easier to be a dissenter and doubt yet conversely some think it's a tougher task then... average tasks?. Either way I always say the savest way is to fuck em all, be on the defensive. In our shitty culture of media and bullshit your best bet is to block it all out and forge your own path in whatever you're doing. Whenever something says one thing to you kick it in the nuts and demand why?! Why should I pick VISA instead of Mastercard? NO! Why should I have a credit card at all. People seemed to have a fine time before they were invented and if I remember correctly they didn't have a historical amount of debt. Correlation? NO SHIT!

     I'm done ranting, go back to watching "Friends", sheep.
