How many people use P2P software? I know a shit load use kazaa, morpheus, imesh, whatever. And I guarantee those people have downloaded at least one copyrighted song. But are any musicians or record companies(namely Viacom, Time Warner, Sony) going broke? Ha, I don't think so. So what's with this whole RIAA attacking P2P software thing? I'll tell you my opinion, as usual some rich fat old white guy doesn't think he's getting enough money so he's going to tryt o blame a bunch of teenagers at home and screw them.
The bill being proposed by two Democrats, Berman and Conyer, would allow RIAA at their by hopes to actually delete mp3s remotely from someone's computer. This is a ridiculous proposal but the RIAA wants it done. I just don't understand. these musicians are still rich and the companies richer. People download mp3s all the time and if they're good you go buy a cd. It's that simple. If the band isn't worth buying a cd from then they shouldn't be in the business. Learn to tour and make some money. The point is people in that business are rich asshoels who want more money and if they see their paycheck drop from 1.5 million to 1.499 million they're angry. Well they can fuck off. Music is for everybody and I think as long as you aren't calling it your own then you can do whatever you want with it. If I made a song and put the mp3 on my PC and 50 people downloaded it I'd be fucking psyched. These assholes like Metallica's Lars have already made money for years off CDs and concerts yet the second they hear someone got their music for free they snap. BITE US!, I mean it collectively bite us, we don't give a fuck!
If your paycheck alone can support seven families why are these musicians getting pissed that people apparently like them?? You know what this all says? FANS COME SECOND TO MONEY! Metallica pissed me off more then anyone about that. They actually supported Lars in sueing a FAN! Some fucking kid liked their music and they wanted to sue him because he didn't chuck up $18 for a cd. Dicks! Go back to your mansions and cry about it. Fuck Metallica and Fuck anyone opposed to P2P software all it does is weed out the loser studio bands who can't draw a strong enough fanbase. Most importanyl though fuck the RIAA!
