Blowing Green


     Well I'm off to college... or rather at college. I moved into Bowling Green State University about five days ago. I know I haven't updated much, but is anyone even reading this page? Oh well. BG has annoyed me in various ways. Some of the first will explain why I haven't updated recently.
     First of all I now had access to a T1 line.... OOOOOO. Yes a constant connection at blazing speeds. The worry.. constant connection, viruses, hackers, etc, and so forth. I thought I'd be a good little window-drone and go buy a nice corporate, legally purchased piece of software for once. This software being McAfee Anti virus and firewall. Now it may have been some miraculously timed virus attack or the McAfee but something got into my windows that day and it was like trying to give an ill-tempered baboon an anal thermometering during mating season. I startup, it freezes, I goto safe mode, it beeps, eventually I had a $700 tower that made odd system noises. So I sat in my non-a/c room with no entertainment.

     The other horrible things were;
1) I want to double major and the CS department are being dicks about it
2) The "children" seem to have this juvenile obsession with the terms party and beer
3) I'm nowhere close enough to my girlfriend
4) They don't even offer my true interest Computer Engineering not Science
5) It is generally not the best school

     There's some positive about BG. I guess...
1) My roommate is cool he doesn't drink or smoke or "party". Bit OCD and he likes 80s music but oh well.
2) I can drive to Toledo fairly quickly and see my girlfriend.
3) There's a Wendy's on campus
4) My Poli Sci teacher and my Critical Thinking teacher are both cool. And anti-Bush to boot(I think), but then again everyone should be anti-Bush... moron.
