Greg Saunders's grandfather was an Indian fighter, and his father was a sheriff in Wyoming. As a young man, he moved east to New York City and became a country singer, radio's "Prairie Troubadour". Greg returned to his home after his father was killed, bringing to justice the gang of bandits that had killed his father during a robbery that he interrupted. After capturing and turning the gang to the law he devoted his life to fighting crime. At the time of the rise of the Justice Lords he was a vigilante and the Justice Lords deemed him a minor threat. As a result the Lords placed a price on his head, he wasn't enough of a threat for them to go after themselves. As a result he went underground and after a few years of hiding out to avoid the bounty hunters he was approached by Arsenal to join the rebels. His talent and skill have made him a great asset to the Rebellion. He is an excellent brawler, trick shooter, sharpshooter, horseman and motorcycle rider, and an expert with the lariat.
