Can Bill out-wack the Long Shot?

Actually this doesn't even deserve a full page.

We here at Shatner 2000 are aware that Pat Buchanan is actually the likely Reform Party Candidate and Jesse says he's not going to run. But, (wacky as "pitchfork" Pat is) doesn't a Shatner-Ventura matchup sound like more fun? (Note to Bill: Bring Vulcan death grip. We know, there is no such thing as a Vulcan death grip, but we suspect Jesse hasn't gotten around to reading that memo.)

In the Reform Corner: Jesse Ventura. Current Governor of Minnesota. No higher education. Former Navy SEAL, professional wrestler and incredibly bad actor. Ran on a whim and basically in his character as a wrestler. Now wishes to be called "The Mind" rather than "The Body," indicating a certain insecurity about the fact that people don't take him all that seriously.

In the Shatner Corner: William Shatner. Owns production company in Toronto (really!), produces the TekWar thing, various other ventures. Has own domain name (www.williamshatner.com). Former Stratford Festival actor (really!), Strangely identified with Captain Kirk despite fine roles in TJ Hooker, Rescue 911, TekWar, Kingdom of the Spiders, Riel (possibly you missed that one) Free Enterprise, and countless more. Also kind of a bad actor, but GLORIOUSLY bad. So bad he's good. He defies good/bad acting...he simply IS. Glories in his own camp value and has learned to turn a tidy profit from the fact that people don't take him all that seriously.
