Is everyone really in love,
or is the word continually misused?
I find I dwell too much on it,
and my heart just keeps being abused.
I try so hard to find that one,
who you find fills your emptyness.
The one you can't live without meeting,
but sometimes you mess up and it goes amiss.
You're not complete without the girl.
You're not who you'll someday be.
Chains hold you down, imprisioning you,
but in your heart you know, with her, you're free.
Her kiss makes you weak in the knees.
Her face is all that your mind sees.
