Ban is the money hungry protagonist in Get Backers. Together with Amano Ginji they are the best retrieval team with an accuracy rate of 100% (or so they say). He is not the average guy you'd fall instantly for, actually he is, but his attitude is the problem. He is rude, selfish, proud and kicks a mean punch when angry. His character is strong and wise with a little hint of artistic knowledge. Ban's past is unknown, but he used to be with Himiko together with her brother. His Evil Eye was given by his German grandmother. The Evil Eye can only be used three times in 24 hours. It is the ability to let someone hallucinate a dream or nightmare whenever he eyes a person. His second abilty is the Snake bite, ability to grip with 200kg pressure on the enemy.
