Why does John McCook (Eric) have seven canceled postage stamps pinned to his dressing-room bulletin board? Consider it his paltry attempt at philately, aka stamp collecting. The actor admits that while his assortment isn’t that big, “I have started saving stamps that strike me as really unique. Stamps have just become much more inventive and colorful than they used to be.” Thanks to viewers around the world, McCook has been able to observe this phenomenon firsthand via his fan mail. That’s why we’re sure his modes collection will grow in time – if the keeps a tit. “ It’s kind of funny,” he admits. “Who would have thought I’d become this old actor who sits around and does these things like collecting stamps?”
