INTRODUCTION:
You don't need to know much
about the internet before you know that there is nothing sacred.
Just a bunch of people with their own agendas, trying to get your
attention and money - laws are set up to protect the wealthy, and
there's indoctrination or filth around every corner. It doesn't
seem like a great place to spend your time, unless you know what
you want. All you need to do is consider the millions of people
who exercise their right to be self-centered, overopinionated, petty
mystery figures on the web, and you can see that freedom can be
a dangerous thing - or is our tolerance of people who abuse freedom
the real danger? Those who are rejected and looked down upon in
real society can be part of a massive thriving community online
- anarchists, humanists, fetishists, and any other "ist"
you can think of. There's a place for you here on the internet,
but there's also a place for everything you hate. There's a place
on the internet for everything in the world, and anything other
than it too. Nothing sacred may be an understatement...
The internet is a sea of
information, people, products, pictures, sounds, sights, and expereinces
- an ocean without end. And it's my observation that if you're not
ready for the swim, you may just get drowned with the tides! Hop
on our humble little rowboat, and we'll give you a little tour of
what we know about life at sea: Online Gaming.
