So I stood there... not certain how much of his attitude was an act or real...

Do I have your attention now, my fellow creatures? Well, the Mistress of the Morgue has a very special "Musings" for you.

This weekend the 'Babe herself played hostess to the Mistress of the Morgue. Now why would the Mistress want to go to Albany? Besides seeing her "big sis" and watching Wrestlemania XIV with her, the only other reason could be... you guessed it... RAW is WAR. The Pepsi Arena was the location of the first RAW since Wrestlemania XIV (1 whole day) and the Wrestlebabe and the Mistress were there.

After spending Sunday with the 'Babe at her place, I was jazzed to be going to the hotel where Vince and JR were staying. Would I be lucky enough to meet Uncle Vince? Plus, the chance of possibly meeting the Man was too tempting to resist. After grabbing a bit to eat, the 'Babe and I freshened up and grabbed our gear. Armed with 2 cameras, 4 rolls of film, a handful of flyers for the Parlor, and 4 signs, we left for the Arena.

At around 7:30 the Arena wasn't packed yet, but it was getting close. We were there early enough for the 'Babe to speak with the Arena staff about giving JR a couple of copies of the flyer. They said she could come back after he came down and give them to him. Why didn't the Mistress do it herself? It was crowded, hot and... okay, I can be a bit of a coward from time to time.

We all watched RAW so I won't go into the matches. However, all three men of the D.O.A. saw the sign that their Wrestlebabe made for them. I know the Man looked at the "Only 1 Undertaker & so many Brides!" sign I took for us. It was very visible in both the RAW taping and the Shotgun taping. If someone wants to send the Mistress a copy of Shotgun, she'd be thrilled. After the RAW ended we were treated to a 3 men tag team match, HHH and his new DX posse teamed up with Rocky and Kane. Strange bedfellows, eh? They were fighting Shamrock, Austin and the Undertaker. Shamrock was the active man most of the time and both the Rock and HHH got pounded on by him. If memory serves, Austin came into the ring at the end to finish the match. The Undertaker was never tagged in. *growl* When Kane went over to get into it, the Undertaker and he ended up in a small brawl outside of the ring near the ramp. (Well, as small of a brawl as you can get with men this big!)

After the show was over, we checked the table and JR had taken the flyers with him. We gave one of the WWF photographers a copy of the flyer as well. (I'd love to see those shot and I will... in an issue of one of the WWF magazines. *sigh*)

After the show, we went back to the hotel and dropped everything off and headed for the sports bar. When we hit the lobby we were a bit disoriented so we glanced around trying to find the right set of doors and I saw JR heading our way. Turns out that he was headed there too. One problem... it was closed... So after verifying that all of the doors were locked... JR asked one of the hotel staff where the bar is. After we got the answer, we set off for the hotel's bar. (Okay, he went and we were headed to the same place. I will not say that we went together...) As we got close we passed the Rock in the hallway, I smiled and fired off a "Hi, Rocky. You were great tonight." He gave me one of his killer smiles and said thanks before heading off. (I wish I had grabbed his autograph.) We weren't stopping to chat with him... we had our sights set on the bar.

Vince, Kama, the Sarge, and a horde of officials were already there and having a nice time chatting with each other and a few fans would were at the bar. After what seemed like forever I built up the courage to approach Vince. I took two copies of the flyers I'd made for the Parlor. One for him to sign and another to keep as I really hoped he'd visit the Parlor. He signed it for me. I gave him the other copy and started to explain it when Kama took it out of his hand and my conversation with Vince was over. Kama looked at it saying "what is this." I started to explain and got as for as "It's my website for the Undertaker..." before he cut me off. "The Undertaker? The Undertaker? What's he ever done for you?" I tried not to get mad (or too scared - Gads! Kama's a big man!) and said "He's been here entertaining me for over 9 years." He smirked and said "Oh, so now he's an entertainer and not an athlete?" He tossed the flyer on the floor. I choked as I had never thought and I was getting upset, so I stood there... not certain how much of his attitude was an act or real... I tried to smile and answered "I'm not calling a 6 foot 10 and a half inch tall man who does what he does anything less than an athlete." I offered to build him a site and never heard his answer as I quickly added that I'd like his autograph. I asked if he'd sign the back of the flyer. I didn't want him to sign the front of the one Vince had signed as it seemed to be upsetting him. Of course, he made a comment about that too. Thankfully, Wrestlebabe came to my rescue and "tagged" me out of the conversation by starting a conversation with him.

I escaped but was upset that Vince didn't have a copy of the flyer anymore. After a bit, the 'Babe wandered back over and sat down. We chatted and decided to give Vince another copy folded so he could tuck it into a pocket and forget about it for a little while. (Please, Uncle Vince. Only for a little while.) Wrestlebabe ran them over... I was staying well away from Kama... Dude, you put a scare into me and I'm not mad but I don't wanna be in your face again.

I went over to Jerry and asked for his autograph. He was friendly, I liked him. The 'Babe and I headed back to the hotel room and it's double queen beds for some down time before my long trip home. We saw Flash on the way back and I grabbed his autograph too. He's so sweet. Mark Henry was in the hallway but we left him alone. I said it was because he was way down the hallway, but in truth... I was worried about bothering anyone that late at night.

It broke the 'Babe's heart when none of her guys came down to the bar and it broke mine when neither "Kane" nor "the Undertaker" came down.

Well, this Musing has gone on far longer than I'd expected and I didn't even talk about the great show... Hope you don't mind.

So... until the next time, my friends... Sleep well. Dream of the good times.
