Now this is a placed I’ve played in on and off since it first started, and it only get’s better. If you like virtual pets, playing games, running a virtual store and doing a host of other things, check it out. The best thing about it is, not only is it fun, it’s FREE!

I’ve played a few different MPOGs, since I learned about playing online with other players when I played Diablo. I started with The Realm, and have since then played UO (UltimaOnline), EverQuest and GuildWars. Currently I’m splitting my time between Guild Wars and EverQuest.

I’ll start with Guild Wars first. If you love quests, lots of battles, and if you choose, PVP play, this game if for you. I won’t go into detail here about it’s plus’ and minus’ because it’s all subjective, but check out the official page and these really great links below to find out what it’s all about. The nice thing about this game, which is VERY new, is that you purchase the game and the online play is free. Can’t really beat that for the kind of play, graphics (which are outstanding) and fun this game packs.

Guild Wars @ Stratics,this is a really great site and a good place to start learning about the game or get a lot of help once you are in it.

GWOnline.Net:The Unofficial GuildWars Site, is another great site to visit to get a feel of what guild wars is all about.

Now on to EverQuest. I actually started playing this game before GuildWars, and plan on continuing to play it for a while, because though GuildWars is a fantastic game, there are some things you cannot do in that game that you can in EverQuest. If I could marry the two together into one game I’d be the happiest player online, however this is the next best thing until one starts taking over most of my online time.
