Buenos Altos Address
Peace between Buenos Altos and Meijing: Peace will only be brought about when our security concerns are put to rest. Granted, the union between Meijing and Vaticon City has now been settled peacefully, but do not forget that Meijing forcibly went into Vaticon City and quelled 3 bloody uprisings before this “peace” was achieved. We are still wary of Meijing’s intentions. We value our sovereignty and freedom and have no desire to have “progressive reforms” forcibly imposed on us by Meijing. Our troops will not withdraw until our security is guaranteed. The Pharoh has until 2359 Mountain Standard Time, December 23rd 2001 to come up with these guarantees. As well, we will not be insulted with any offer of an alliance or non-aggression pact. We still remember that Meijing attacked her own ally without provocation. These negotiations will not take place unless Meijing pledges and guarantees no military structure will be built during her build turn. Any military construction will be seen as a provocation of war. If the deadline passes and diplomatic talks have not yet commenced, then it will be end of the “Phoney war” and the beginning of a very real one.
