Like all developed societies, the Mapp faces a major problem when it comes to urban sprawl. The similarities end there as housing prices on the Mapp are artificially low, rising only with universal inflation. This is based on demand for all construction - not just houses.
Housing prices should be subject to market regulation and rise when demand goes up and fall when demand goes down. This will limit urban sprawl and most importantly, contain the ambition of passive-aggressive nations who choose to build as many houses as possible so as to take over foreign countries' land claims at a low, low price.
