CONGRESSIONAL PARLIAMENT MOTION NO. 1
SECOND DRAFT: A synthesis of Jaredian (original), Rattanjeetarr, and Samchoragean opinions.
May 8, 2002

1. Congressional Parliament refuses to acknowledge any militaristic (defined to be an association formed for the purpose of aggressive military activity) alliances between two or more Great Powers. Should such alliances be formed, Great Powers shall immediately be charged with 'conspiracy against world peace'.

2. Congressional Parliament initiates and actively pursues a non-proliferation treaty (NPT) concerning weapons of mass destruction. All nations are strongly urged to sign the document. Adherents to the treaty shall have Congressional weapons observers stationed within the country at all times to monitor these devices. These observers shall also ensure that the legal obligations of the NPT adherent are being obeyed.

3. Congressional Parliament demands that all members of the Great Powers Forum who exercises their veto justify the action with a written statement explaining their decision. Failure to do so shall render the veto null and void.

4. Congressional Parliament encourages the progression of reunification talks between the Free Republic of the Electorate of El-Hussaq and the El-Hussaq Republic.

5. Congressional Parliament encourages that Rattanjeetland and the El-Hussaq Republic be exempt from the Riksholm Treaty, and in the case of the former, from the Treaty of 2K2.
