Gorditas Press Release
"The Government of Gorditas vetoes Congress Resolution 4 because it interferes with our ability to make informed decisions regarding Great Powers Forum Resolutions.

"The responsibility of the GP Forum is to resolve issues when a Congress cannot be summoned. Although a strength of the GP Forum resides in its swift nature, to arbitrarily commit a four day deadline upon the Great Powers is ill-conceived. Having a vote in the Great Powers Forum is a privileged responsibility and our decisions cannot be hastily forced. We must be given the freedom to fully analyze the benefits and consequences of our choices before voting. Having said that, we encourage the Great Powers to be prompt but do not sacrifice the integrity of your decisions for the speed with which they are made. Ultimately, Congress Resolution 4 is an infringement upon our capacity to best serve The Mapp; thus, we issue this veto."
