THE HANCALAE TRAGEDY
The following is an excerpt from the leading Igoslavian newspaper which recently resumed operations.

The silence of the goats - Igoslavia survives December 2006 mapp catastrophe!

"Back in the day, Igoslavia was a nurturing, peaceful little country, situated in the new areas of the Mapp, holding hands with its bigger brother Octavton, and cushioned by the vast stretches or Herwan. Peaceful Igoslavs enjoyed the prosperity brought on by successes of the domestic industries as well as international trading.

"Its novel and budding developments of raising genetically altered goats in the green pasturelands of cote d'jaumez province, was a not-so-secret project. Many countries were aware of such developments, however no one knew exactly what the goats were used for.

Some speculated that goats were part of the military project developed to defend Igoslavia in case of an all-out invasion. Some thought that this was a sinister scheme for offensive military strategies. Others believed that goats were designed to boost the national economy with an abundant supply of goat meat, goat milk and goat fart.

"Nobody knew for sure, but the fact remained that goats glowed green at night and people of Igoslavia were happier than ever. Following the Mapp disaster of 12/6, many countries were severely crippled by the nuclear fallout and the Hancalae virus. Igoslavia too was severely affected by the nuclear fallout, however Igoslavs were surprised to discover that their health had been miraculously preserved.

"Something caused their immune systems to be resistant to the Hancalae virus. The answer as to how and why, nobody knows for sure, however since the 12/6 the sales of goatmilk have reached an all time peak. Many farmers claim the milk has special properties.

"Perhaps it does, but perhaps it was the constant low level radioactivity exposure emitted by the goats that had something to do with making Igoslavs more resilient to the harsh environment. Government representatives failed to comment on this, however they seemed neither surprised nor concerned about this issue. The goal now is to rebuild the country, strenghten the economy and re-connect the ties to its allies."
