"Upon hearing of the latest Gorditan and Lindsholmic moves, President El Cid II has issued an order to the El-Hussaqi treasury to spend 5 million altos to buy blankets, outdoor camping supplies, and food for the Gorditan troops. These supplies were sent to the borders and they await approval of the Gorditan army to enter. Also President El Cid II, in an official statement, welcomed the troops to the region. As a sign of good intention, the El-Hussaqi army played the Gorditan national anthem as the Gorditan flag was raised, on the El Hussaqi borders with Gorditas, for an hour at noon to symbolize El-Hussaq's goodwill towards its neighbors. President El Cid II also ordered his troops not to fire EVEN IF FIRED UPON until further orders. This, according to military analysts, is aimed at bringing peace to the region. El-Hussaq currently awaits word from the GX on a possible time for the negotiations to commence."
